Become a Problem is a two-hour self-defence workshop for women focused on two core principles: seeing the problem, then, becoming the problem.
Most violence does not begin with an attack. It begins with selection. This workshop teaches you how to recognize the early signals of danger, understand how predators select targets, and increase your awareness as you move through the world.
You will learn how to read proximity, pressure, and behavior, while developing stronger situational awareness and clearer personal boundaries. The session introduces simple physical responses designed for real-world situations: smart, simple techniques that you can remember under pressure.
Most women will never overpower a man in a fight. The goal is not to become the strongest person in the room. The goal is to become enough of a problem.
This workshop is the starting point. It reframes how you understand personal safety and introduces the skills and mindset that make you far harder to dominate, isolate, or control.
Where: In person at an East Austin location
When: 9-11am on Saturday April 19
How to prepare: Wear regular clothing, bring water, come fed, no experience needed
